Best Plumbing Services in San Diego, CA

CSR replaced a 5ft section of my main sewer line after running a camera down it and installed clean outs for almost 1/2 the price of a bid from a larger rooter-name type company. They were fast to get me a quote but I had to wait a week or so each time they came out because they are understandably busy.

I interacted with a lot of their team members (Huyen, Vince, Julio and Alan) and I found them all to be very professional, friendly and very competent. They always wore a mask when we spoke and stayed on schedule despite doing the work in the middle of an intense heat wave.

Great local company - we called and scheduled an appointment to have our shower faucet examined. Ryan and Tyler came to our house on a Sunday - no extra charge. They were prompt, professional, courteous and efficient. Should we ever need plumbing service in the future, I will not hesitate to call them again.  Excellent work!!!

I had Collins Pacific install two 75-gallon gas water heaters at my home.  I had 4 other quotes from local plumbing companies.  Collins Pacific was the only one that provided a virtual quote based on the pictures that I sent.  I received a quote back very quickly and all of the various options were covered.  The quotes I received from the other companies were considerably higher for the same work and the same tanks.  I went with Collins Pacific based on the most competitive price and responsiveness to my inquiries.

Two trucks and two plumbers arrived this morning exactly at the time they said they would arrive.  We went through the job together.  I asked my questions, set up the expectations of what I wanted and they went through what they were planning to do to install the two tanks.  All of the work was done to my satisfaction.  They spent roughly six hours to install the two tanks.  I did have to run to the hardware store to pick up a brass connector they didn't have so they could install the expansion tank the way I wanted.  I noted a few drips that required the connections to be tightened, but after we went through the system, everything looked great and appears to be functioning as expected.  They cleaned up the workspace nicely.  

Bottom line:  Collins Pacific was responsive, provided a virtual estimate, provided competitive pricing, showed up as agreed to and on time, did all of the work we agreed to in a timely manner, cleaned up nicely, packed up the old tanks and left.  Everything I would expect to get a high rating for the work they did.

Our initial experience with Core Plumbing was very good.  We called them about what we thought was a leaky water heater.  The owner, Don, answered the phone before business hours and was out the same day to repair the leak.  He identified that it was not the water heater, but in fact was the pipe leading to it.  Great.  Cost was reasonable as well.  The first experience was five stars, no doubt.  

We later hired them to uninstall the water heater for water damage repair and Don's son Grant was on the job.  That was mostly fine, but the price was a little higher than we expected because they redid some piping to avoid future leaks (I would have assumed it would have been taken care of on the first visit to repair the leak).  Another thing was that I asked about fixing a leaky tub facet and was told I'd need to sign a waiver because I had to really tighten the handles down, I might have done irreparable damage to the underlying copper pipe that could result in a leak under the tub.  This didn't really make sense to me because we currently didn't have a leak under the tub, and I didn' t know why having them replace the stems and seatings might cause a leak.   This didn't give me a good feeling and we hired someone else who quickly repaired the tub faucet (no waiver, very low cost).  Maybe they just aren't interested in small jobs like that...

As the name of the company states, 5 star is what Justin deserves. From start to finish, 5 stars across the board.  Great responsiveness on yelp, very upfront with pricing. Punctual and friendly. Took care of multiple shut-off valves and leaky faucets for me and didn't try to upsell or recommend unnecessary work. I received quotes and free estimates from a couple of other plumbers and the work suggested was more than 6-7x higher than what I ended up paying with Five Star (sure they would do more work but was complete change-out of 2 entire faucets necessary?).

During this current heat wave, my AC stopped working. Called American Ace due to the all the 5-star reviews and they certainly deserve the rave reviews. They were quite honest in that they fixed the issue and did not try to sell other repairs although we certainly would have done anything to get the AC working again. They certainly have earned our loyalty.

Manny and his team were very professional and efficient.  We had some timing problems and Premier worked with us to expedite the repair time on very short notice - that was very much appreciated.  We would be happy to call Premier back again for future plumbing repairs.

Oh man, these guys are still my mother walkin' heroes!

5pm on a Tuesday afternoon: Literally out of nowhere, whenever we would let the water run--in anything--the pipes in my house rattled so loudly it sounded like a freight train was pulling a steam shovel right down the full length of my hallway. My teeth were nearly chattering from the vibration that was going on in my floors and walls. It was so bad that I would have been totally freaking out had I not known that I had an ace in my pocket.

5:15pm: Wearing a filthy tyvek suit, digging around in the crawlspace under my house, I can't figure it out. The best I could guess was that a poltergeist had settled in, so I decided to pull out that ace and call up Community Plumbing. Just like when I hired these guys six months ago, Eric answers the phone. Greatest guy you ever talked to on the other side of a plumbing house call. 'Yeah', he says, 'we can come out.' 'When', I ask. 'Today, like right now, 'cause if we don't we're busy the next couple of days. In fact Tony--the other one--is in the area, and he'll be right over.' Eric says he'll come over, too.

We hang up, and at about 5:30pm the cavalry arrives. It feels like the car from the Ghostbusters is pulling up in front of my house. Community Plumbing, the big white truck says, and I believe every word of it.

I'm expecting just Eric and Tony, but another guy's there, too. My first thought was: awesome, business is so great for these guys that they're multiplying. So happy; they deserve every bit of it. After I noticed all three were now wearing identical black Doc Martens, I squinted to see what name the new guy had embroidered on the patch of his shirt. I was half expecting it would be either Spengler, Venkman, or Stantz. Nope, it was 'Ant'. Close enough, I guess.

They got to work, figured it out quick, and didn't even come close to raking me over the coals. I was again so happy with them that I booked them to come out again next week for some preventative maintenance I have been wanting to do for a while now. I'm telling you, these guys have class in spades and a price that is way more than fair considering their combined body of knowledge.

After everything was wrapped up we all said goodbye, and I quickly put that ace back in my pocket for the next time it sounds like the world is falling apart. I just hope the guys at Community Plumbing don't decide to leave San Diego before it does.

Honestly I didn't get a chance to see their handiwork. But at the prices I was being quoted i don't feel like it's anywhere near a discount :/

I have no say about their handiwork because it never got there but it went from something rather simple and straight forward to something much more than i bargained for in terms of estimates. So a 3 is my score due to value for service.

I had a leak in the wall at my home called these guys. They were very calming over the phone and assured me that a technician would be out shortly. About an hour later Mark showed up at my door. I showed him the water mark on my wall. He shut down my water opened my wall and repaired the leak within 2 hours. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Thanks Armstrong

Daniel does a great job. I neglected my water heater by not draining the sediment and had to get a new one. He showed me what happened so I learned something new and he gives a reasonable rate. No complaints.

I love these guys!  Always polite, courteous, on time, and have great overall service.  Reasonably priced and very quick to respond.

Just an update.  We've had Kelley out a couple of more times to work on projects for us, and she's now our official handy-person of choice.  I'm happy to say that the great qualities we saw the first time out have proven to be consistent.  It's nice to have somebody we can trust and count on!  Love her, and recommend her every chance we get.

My experience with Troy was great! With the 4th of July weekend approaching they were quick to respond to a clogged kitchen sink in the high-rise where I live. The guys were friendly and professional taking extra precautions to keep the mess to a minimal with that snake machine clearing the line 50ft into the building and making sure they cleaned up when they doubled checked for leaks after putting my drain lines back together. Two thumbs up!

These guys were able to come out on the weekend and didn't charge me a ridiculous amount like others quoted me. I think it was a difficult job in the end but they sorted it out, cleaned everything up and were lovely as well. Will definitely use again if I need!!

We had no water coming out of our kitchen sink so I called and spoke to Freddy. He walked me through asking me to check a few things so he could make a better determination. He was extremely nice and  patient. This was all on a Saturday. He sent someone over and they were able to fix the problem. The plumber was very thorough and nice. This is my second time using Plumbing Tree and I will definitely call on them again but hopefully not too soon. I highly recommend their services!

This review is solely based on our experience with Kenny, who came out to look at our clogged drains.

He called us about 45 minutes prior to our appointment to let us know he was coming and from where so that we were aware.  When he arrived, he had on his mask, gloves and booties readily available to wear before entering out home.  

He inspected our sinks then thoroughly explained to us what was going on with the drains and what needs to be done in order to fix it.  

He provided us a quote and business card, asked us to go ahead and do our due diligence then let him know what we decide.

We had True Plumbing out today to flush our tankless water heater and descale it. Stephen Jones was our technician and he performed his task quick and efficiently. Really nice guy and will totally use them next year. I recommend them 100% for any and all plumbing needs! :D

We are new home owners and heard some weird dripping in our walls. We were concerned it was leakage. Bert walked through our home and took the time to explain everything that is going on with our plumbing. Luckily, it wasn't anything serious. Highly recommend Bert and this team!
